### What is frequency?

Frequency is the number of complete cycles or oscillations per unit of time. One Hertz (Hz) equals one cycle per second. Higher frequency means faster oscillation.

### What is the difference between Hz and RPM?

Hz measures cycles per second; RPM measures revolutions per minute. To convert: 1 Hz = 60 RPM. An engine running at 3,000 RPM = 50 Hz.

### What is the relationship between frequency and radians per second?

Radians per second (angular frequency ω) = 2π × frequency (Hz). One full cycle = 2π radians. So 1 Hz = 2π ≈ 6.283 rad/s.
