Privacy Policy Calculators App

This Privacy Policy describes how IMUSE INC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Calculators app for iOS and macOS (the "App"). We wrote this to be readable, not lawyerly. If something is unclear, email us.

What we collect — the short answer: nothing, by default

Every calculator in the App runs entirely on your device. No inputs, results, or usage data are transmitted to our servers or any third party as part of normal use. The App does not require an account. It does not embed analytics or advertising SDKs. Apple's App Store privacy label for this App is Data Not Collected.

On-device data

The App may store the following data on your device only:

• Favorites and history — calculations you save or recent results the App keeps for your convenience.
• Settings and preferences — display theme, unit preferences, and similar customizations.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync (see Optional Account & Sync below). You can delete saved history and favorites in the App. Uninstalling the App removes its remaining local data.

Optional account and cross-device sync

A future version of the App may offer an optional Sign in with Apple account so you can sync favorites and settings across your devices. This feature is strictly opt-in — the App works fully without it. If and when you choose to create an account:

• We receive only the information Apple provides through Sign in with Apple (typically an anonymized email relay address and a unique identifier). We never see your real Apple ID email unless you choose to share it.
• Your synced favorites and settings are stored on our servers solely to provide the sync service and are not used for any other purpose.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App or by contacting us at [email protected].

Until this feature is released and you opt in, no account data exists and this section does not apply to you.

Optional promotional content and third-party links

The App may display optional informational cards — for example, current mortgage rate offers or financial product suggestions — alongside relevant calculators. The calculator engine itself remains on-device. Specifically:

• At launch, the App may fetch a static first-party configuration file from onlinecalculator.me. This request contains no calculator inputs, results, or app-generated identifiers, but it may disclose your IP address and device type to our content-delivery infrastructure.
• If promotional cards are enabled, their content may be fetched over the network when you view a screen that includes them. Promotional content and event reporting are disabled in version 1.0.
• Cards may link to third-party websites or services. Once you leave the App, those third parties' own privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their data practices.
• We do not receive or store any information about whether you tap or convert on a third-party offer; any such tracking is governed solely by the third party's policy.

Promotional cards are clearly labeled in the UI. The calculator itself always runs offline regardless of whether you interact with a promotional card.

Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an optional feature, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.

Data security

On-device data is protected by the standard app sandbox and operating-system protections on iOS and macOS. Any server-side data associated with an optional account is transmitted over TLS and stored with industry-standard protections. No security measure is perfect; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable precautions.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and, for significant changes, provide notice within the App or by email (if you have an account). Continued use of the App after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
